Karen Sirgey creates bird and butterfly houses special to Urban Roots, reflective of Buffalo’s West Side Architecture.

Avian Architecture is committed to producing the finest quality and the most unique birdhouse designs available. Avian Architecture has been making houses since 1989 and have manufactured a variety of designs ranging from small, one-room schoolhouses to three story, Queen Anne Victorians, with stained glass windows and turrets. We can also recreate your house, cabin or workplace. They make wonderful gifts for your favorite garden lover or the person who has everything.

Bird houses range in cost from $30 – $65 each. Butterfly houses are $30.

Visit Urban Roots on Sunday, December 2, noon-4pm and meet Karen while she is in residence, completing houses.
