Tree Planting on Massachusetts Avenue!

This fall, Urban Roots board members worked with the West Side Community Collaborative and the Western New York Nurserymen’s Association to plant 20 trees on and around Massachusetts Avenue and Rhode Island Street.

Coming a few weeks after our October Storm, it was a recuperative project for many of us. This wasn’t the first time these groups have teamed to plant trees, but it may have been the most needed emotionally. We can’t wait to watch these things grow! Check out our pictures below.
