Ed Dore
Ed Dore is a member of Urban Roots’ Advisory Council.
Ed is the former president of both the Western New York Nursery-Landscape Association and the New York State Nurserymens’ Association. He’s currently a board member for both the NYS Invasive Plant Council and the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets’ Plant Advisory Council. He is a member of both the Cornell Cooperative Extension and State Landscape Team for Program Development.
Ed is the former Chair of the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, where he’s currently the Chair of Master Planning. For the NYS Nurserymens’ Foundation he is currently Chair of the NYS Community Tree Program. Ed is the owner of Dore Landscape Associates, Inc. and has a degree in Horticulture from Alfred State College.
