Brian Dold
Brian Dold is a member of Urban Roots’ Board of Directors.
Brian serves as the Associate Landscape Architect for the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy, in which capacity he’s responsible for coordinating all planting projects within Buffalo’s Olmsted Park system. His duties also include organizing volunteer tree planting efforts, ordering plants and designing plans for annual garden displays, and designing and executing all restoration construction and planting projects in the Olmsted Parks. As well, Brian gives presentations on the history of Olmsted and the Parks System throughout the year to various community groups for the Conservancy. He is an integral member of the project team for the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy 20-year Management and Restoration Plan for the Buffalo Olmsted Parks System.
Brian also chairs the Green Infrastructure working group of the City’s West Side Good Neighbor Planning Alliance. He has a B.S. in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
